To our successful sales team, we therefore need to strengthen with more talents and seek a Sales Engineer for the North American market, with the office in Hudson WI.
As a Sales Engineer at Caldaro, you work strategically and build long-term relationships with major industrial customers who place high demands on quality and functionality. You will quickly get responsibility for your own customers. Your job is to find the optimal solution to the customer’s applications and needs. Most of the times, we can do that by offering something from our wide range of adaptable existing products. In other cases, it may involve development of new products, using our global network of experts. Typically, we design and develop handles, pedals, joysticks or sensors with different technologies for controlling and monitoring demanding industrial applications such as excavators, mining machines, forklifts, cranes, etc. The work performed on a project basis together with our customers and you are responsible for contacts with our suppliers and partners, mainly in Japan and Sweden. You will be part of an experienced team and you will continuously receive training both internally and externally.
In your work, you are responsible for the entire sales process from the first contact to order, and will be involved throughout the development phase, when needed. As a person, you are therefore outgoing and enjoy many external contacts. You own a great initiative and can work independently. To do business and to achieve good results is something you always strive for, and you are also patient and do a solid and qualitative work.
We are mainly looking for you who have several years of experience of technical sales towards industrial customers, typically machine manufacturers. Your education background is probably a BSC or MSC, with relevant focus. Knowledge of Swedish is meritorious.
