Joysticks

Caldaro’s history and experience with electronic joysticks dates back to the early eighties when the Scandinavian forestry industry, as one of the early pioneers, began electrifying the controls for harvesters and cranes. Over the years our organization has gradually built up an impressive product & application experience for various industry sectors. Please visit the Applications section to learn more of the type of machines we supply to.

Our joysticks program consists of more than 20 base models, each of them with numerous adaptation possibilities. The majority of our joysticks has a modular design and offer a very cost effective way to meet special application requirements, not only when the quantity is several thousand but also for volumes of only 10pcs or so.

If your application would benefit from a bespoke joystick, Caldaro is proud to offer in-house development capabilities and to obtain a joystick that exactly meets your needs. Please read more about this in the Tailored section.

A stringent quality control has always been paramount to our operations and has been a key to our success. The quality combined with our application know-how is your guarantee that every single one of our joysticks will perform as expected, even after years of usage in the field.

We have divided our joystick program in three different ranges relating to their size, please click on the pictures above. In all three ranges you have the possibility to choose between traditional resistive joysticks or contactless hall-effect joysticks, with or without redundancy on vital functions, whether you require a CAN bus interface or not. Plus many more options.

We look forward to discuss your requirements in detail. Remember that your input is vital when our engineers obtain a proposal to satisfy the specific needs for the type of machine and application you have.
