Caldaro meets a growing demand for unique solutions and develops handles from idea to series production in close collaboration with the customer. The customer usually knows which requirements the handle must meet and has an idea of how it should look. In collaboration with Caldaro, the customer develops a specification which subsequently forms the basis for development of the handle.
We put a big focus on ergonomics and intelligent design. Caldaro helps to find technical solutions that enable the operator to get through long working days without risk of repetitive strain injuries. The handle is designed to protect integrated, vital components, and a basic final assembly is planned to minimize the total costs.
The tailored handle can be a simple knob for a linear joystick or a Multifunction handle with many features and functions. We can make many different designs depending on the volume for mass production, if it shall be produced in thousands or 10’s doesn’t matter we can find cost effective ways. In large quantities the most cost effective solution is to invest for injection moulding tools for plastic parts. In lower quantities it might still be a good idea to mill and turn parts from a solid plastic part to make the unique design that is asked for.
